We are immensely grateful you've decided to volunteer your time with Glen Rose Soccer Association. If your interest includes coaching, we must ask that you follow these steps before we can establish the teams for the season. Additionally, we do require you to complete Registration, Safesport Certification and Background check through our affiliates, Gotsport, annually. Below we’ve listed the most efficient route to getting you onto the pitch:
STEP 1: OFFICIAL REGISTRATION
After confirming your coaching interest with our leadership, please use the following link to officially register via https://system.gotsport.com/programs/7Y9182819?reg_role=coach
STEP 2: RISK MANAGEMENT
To ensure the safety of our players, every coach and manager must undergo a comprehensive background check. Log into your dashboard at https://www.gotsport.com/asp/coaches and follow the prompts to start the process. Clearance can take up to five weeks, so we urge you to submit this immediately. Only approved volunteers can be added to our coaching roster. Please note that the North Texas State Soccer Association manages these investigations independently and does not disclose specific details regarding denials.

STEP 3: MANDATORY SAFE SPORT TRAINING
Federal law requires annual Safe Sport certification for anyone working with minors. To complete or renew your training, log in at https://www.gotsport.com/asp/coaches/ and follow the instructions provided here:

STEP 4: ATTEND THE SEASON KICKOFF MEETING
Every season begins with a mandatory meeting for coaches and managers. This is the most vital session of the year as we cover logistics and team assignments. Check your email and our site regularly for updates on the time and location. You must have all certifications and paperwork finished before attending. If a conflict arises, notify the Director of Coaches immediately to discuss an alternative arrangement. We look forward to seeing you!
